Custom Created Memorial Services

First of all, if you’re here seeking a spot to host a memorial service, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I’ve been presiding over funerals and memorial services for more than a dozen years all around the Austin area. I’ve been hosting memorial services at my ranch in Garfield for a decade.

I love my job—the hosting and the presiding. It’s a very special honor to get to help folks put on a memorable celebration for loved ones who have passed. Every memorial service we host is as unique as the person we are honoring.

People who do choose the ranch are looking for an event that is less formal and more easygoing than a traditional church or funeral home service. They have organ music. We have a donkey named Levon who sometimes brays to welcome guests.

The ranch is also a great choice if you’re on a tight budget. Funerals can be expensive. Our rates start at a very reasonable $500. We supply tables, tablecloths, chairs and, if you want, centerpieces. See below for a full list of rates.

All rates include tables, chairs, tablecloths, a projector and TV for a slide show, PA system, trash cans and liners, set up and break down of the room. Rates subject to change. Please contact us for an exact quote.

Up to 50 guests $500 for three hours, $600 for four hours

Up to 100 guests $900 for three hours $1000 for four hours

Add on Spike as celebrant: $400

Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Up to 50 guests $750 for three hours, $900 for four hours
